Guide — Customer experience

What a customer experiences, from the table to the bill

Your customers install nothing and create no account: everything happens in their browser, from a simple QR code placed on the table. This guide walks you through their full journey, screen by screen, so you can assist them if needed.

Scan the QR code and browse the menu

No installation, no account

Each table has its own QR code. By scanning it, the customer lands directly on your venue's menu, already linked to their table — no need to specify a table number later.

  1. The customer scans the code on their table

The code embeds a security token specific to the table: it's impossible to order "remotely" for another table.

  2. They browse your menu

Categories, photos, descriptions — in their own language if you've entered translations.

  3. They build their cart

Add to cart, adjust quantities, optional note per item ("no onions").

Confirm the order

The cart stays open until the customer confirms it — they can keep browsing the menu and adding items before sending their order to the kitchen/bar.

Each item goes straight to the relevant kitchen or bar screen, depending on how it's prepared — no manual step on your side.
03

Track the order in real time

The customer stays on a tracking page that updates itself as the kitchen and the bar make progress — no refresh needed.

Request the bill

A single button on the tracking screen instantly notifies the cashier (or the server) that a table wants to pay — no more waving someone down.

Pay directly from their phone

As soon as the invoice is ready, the customer can settle it themselves via mobile money — or leave this step to your cashier if they'd rather pay in cash on the spot.

  1. The customer reviews the bill details

Subtotal, tax, service charge, optional tip.

  2. They can split the bill between guests

By entering the number of people, each guest can pay their own share by mobile money, separately.

  3. They confirm on their phone

A mobile money payment request is sent to them; they approve it in their usual banking app.

Leave a review

Once the invoice is paid, the customer is offered a 1-to-5-star rating and a free-text comment — visible afterwards in Admin → Customer reviews.
