Guide — Kitchen & Bar

The preparation board, station by station

Kitchen and bar share the same screen, each only seeing the items that concern them. Three columns are enough to follow the whole service: pending, in progress, ready.

Move an item forward

Kitchen / Bar

Every item follows the same path, one button at a time. The customer sees it progress live on their own phone.

Pending→ In progress→ Ready→ Served
  1. "Accept"

Confirms the order has been seen — it moves from the "Pending" column to "In progress".

  2. "Start"

You actually begin preparing the item.

  3. "Mark ready"

The item moves to the "Ready" column — the server (or the customer, for counter items) can come pick it up.

Report an out-of-stock item mid-service

Run out of an ingredient in the middle of the rush? The "Out of stock" button removes the item from the current order and updates the product's actual stock — it won't appear available for the next orders until it's restocked.

This action feeds the same movement history as the Stock module — see the stock management guide.

Delay alerts

If an item goes too long without progressing, it changes color to catch your attention, then an alert is sent to the administrator if the critical threshold is exceeded (delays configurable in Admin → Settings).

Keep working during a wifi outage

A short connection loss doesn't interrupt your service: your actions (accept, start, mark ready, out of stock) are queued and sent automatically as soon as the network is back.

A small message confirms each action added to the queue — nothing is lost, even if you close the screen before the network comes back.
